Don’t care about the LEDs, i almost never put my phone flat on its screen. The midrange cpu is probably ok if it has a decent camera, but it doesn’t. A discounted pixel 6 or the new 6a would be a better choice

The biggest issue with Android phones, is Android. Until these manufacturers step up and actually create their own OS that can actual attempt to do what iOS does, Apple will always be the gold standard. Slapping a skin on or slightly tweaking Android is just plain lazy, which is why Android phones rely so heavily on hardware gimmicks to dazzle. You need great software to make the hardware experience good, and this is their Achilles heel. Apple is always behind in hardware, yes… but when the feature come out it’s done 100% right, no bugs no issues, it works really well… when an android phone comes out with a hardware feature it always works like a very early beta.

I don’t use my phone without a case… Lights on the back of the phone for me is a no NO…. And why should I put my phone facing downward? Just to know if I have notifications? I could just tap my screen and see if there is… I really don’t see myself checking the lights of the back of my phone… But for real I love the camera…
