ok. let me put it in this way. I bought OPO to OP7PRO, every single one of them. I think oneplus has no soul without you to be very honest. However, if I own an iPhone and I am in the iOS eco system, I would be stupid if I buy the the Ear (2)

Look, airpods pro 2 are amazing. the sound is so much better than the first gen, battery, transparency mode all of it. The nothing is almost half the price, its not in the same league for me. Sound quality build everything. But i do appreciate CEO honesty.

the fundamental problem with earbuds is that on real use case it causes ears some issues due to silicon pads and I hence stopped using them after struggling with earbuds use over a year or so!
