I find M2 to be extremely disappointing. When Apple launched m1, it was one of the most powerful socs on the market, while only using a fraction of the power. Now with the release of m2, apples M1 is considered low end to middle of the run in performance compared to Intel and amd’s current generations, with Intel’s New generation right around the corner getting ready to blow it out of the water even further

It’s just disappointing to see Apple start off so strong, and then have such a week improvement on top of a first generation product. Usually the second generation of production is the biggest improvement. Not worth the extra money on the extra power consumption for around 11% improved single core and multicore across geekbench, and cinebench
