Great color, i do like it! Looks similar in effect to my prior black surface laptop2. Definitely a print magnet but could always get a clear cover for it. Since I’ve already had the pleasure of a nice dark laptop I’d go for the Starlight with this one. I currently sport an M1 Air (space gray)- i don’t think i need the upgrade just yet. Thank you for the unboxing – always fun!

Will it be a few more days before read and write test are done? I am weighting if I should wait to replace my 2018 MacBook Pro to current MacBook Air something lighter for traveling.

I’m a student that doesn’t use any photo editing apps or stuff like that. I just web browse and watch movies on YouTube and Netflix. Which do you guys think is better for me? Is the display and screen upgrade significant to be worth the extra $200? Is m2 faster for web browsing?

Great review Jud- but on your next video could you just hold it in different possess to get a sense of the look and feel? Maybe one where you hold it on your side, next to your hip, like you hold a book when you are walking to class. And maybe another one holding it up against your chest like a 50’s girl waiting near her locker talking about her crush… hopefully this made sense. Thank you in advance.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that the 256gb Models now only use 1 SSD Chip. That means SSD speeds are up to 50% slower compared to 256gb M1.

I have an M1 MBA and performance isn’t much of an upgrade but should I get an M2 just for the colour and the updated design or get an M1 iPad Pro? 😂
