I’ve been doing a little comparing of the two (12 & 13 Max) and here are my observations so far:
1. The 13’s screen has around 90% less light bleed (bleed was very noticeable on the 12 when adjusting the volume against a black screen, something that shouldn’t be there with an OLED)
2. The 13’s screen has a more neutral color balance (to my eyes the the 12 has far too much greenish/yellow hues)
3. The 13 gets louder and has a much larger and dynamic soundstage (sound like four speaker at the corners where the 12 sounds like two placed quite close together. Sounds more “spatial” like the new AirPod feature.

Fyi, the loading bars in Pokemon Unite.. Doesnt reflect you having the fastest device 😀 I had an iPad Pro 2021 (M1), next to my gfs S20+.. And on her screen, she loaded the fastest, and I was the fastest on mine.. Both on same WiFi.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max is the first phone my wife doesn’t have to charge during the day. Every other she has had to charge by 3pm each day. This thing, with the screen adapting refresh rate means she makes it through… it’s crazy.

I play CoD mobile on my 4″ iphone se. Smaller and lighter handheld devices are better. Maybe a little more than 4″ but not more than 6″

The actuarial dudes didn’t make those calculations in Canada or Australia. It is a 2k phone for me. But I like it… and it is amazing to forget to recharge, and then rock on using the phone for another day… that happened frequently. Thanks Dave.
