I think Apple ups prices on their other products because they offer something others don’t on some of it. Theres not as much competition in the other sectors as there is for phones.

Others want things for work or something specific but phones are, deep down, just phones. I don’t need a 3080 in my phone. It needs to make calls and surf the web. And when there are 300-400 dollar phones that can do what any normal phone can do, you have to keep the price reasonable (not that i think 1k+ is ever reasonable for a phone).

They haven’t jacked up the price because they removed the charger. The transportation cost decreased dramatically.

6:01 the thing is, android phones already have bigger batteries than the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the iPhone just makes better use out of the battery and somehow gets more hours of screen on time with a 4300mAh battery than a Samsung with a 5000mAh battery. If Apple put a 5000mAh battery it would be a 3 day phone maybe even 4

They are not selling the phone, they are selling the apple service in it. The phone is merely a lure to gain more users and then you get into their eco system (Apple TV/music/game/news etc etc ) which they make so much more money and are not anymore just dependant on selling phone. I am one of the their client I can’t complain they have a really good eco system.

Pricing is changed. New phone does not come with CHARGER. Means Price of new phone is higher than older once.
