They are keeping the price same because of passive income , for the iPhone x you would get a charger in the box and you don’t need to more accessories for it , but for the 13 and all you have to buy the charger seperate and you’ve got mag safe etc to buy for your iPhone , and there is the least amount of innovation after the iPhone x.

13 pro max is a monster but that battery life makes it all worth while. On light use I didn’t have to charge until day 3. It’s nuts!!

Why are the phones the same price YOY?

Technology = exponentially deflationary; cooler and cooler sh*t is easier and easier to make over time.

Fiat currency = inflationary; more money gets you less and less stuff over time.

Slap those 2 together and you get better phones with the same price tag.

Maybe Apple has not increased USD prices, however in different EMEA countries the price has gone up a bit.

I have yet to see a mobile game that’s worth installing for anyone over the age of 9. While I do appreciate that you’re playing it because your kid loves it, I still long for the day when people start making mobile games that are interesting and intellectually stimulating. The closest I’ve seen was Civ 6, but even that wasn’t implemented well.

Ok, advice please. I have a 2 year old 11 Pro Max that is in an absolutely pristine condition. Battery health is at 92%… My contract is due for renewal this month. Do I keep the phone for another year and only pay for my airtime for the rest of this year (no device payments as contract term is up), or do I renew the contract and get the 13 Pro Max?

I was worried that the iphone 13 pro max would be too big for my small hands, but really wanted to get it since I’ve never had one. Luckily, even though its big, (after getting used to it) I can’t imagine going down a size. it’s literally the perfect phone especially with that killer battery life. Highly recommend for anyone on the fence!
