THANK YOU for tempering the hype over high refresh rate screens on phones. I always thought it was a bit unnecessary to have high refresh rates on mobile devices and struggled to see any huge benefit to them aside from slightly smoother animations here and there. Other reviewers think it’s a huge knock on the iPhone 13 line to not have higher refresh rates, but I’ve had an iPad Pro for a while and it’s honestly not that big of a deal.

You should try out a Razer Kishi or similar to see how the iPhone holds up against the switch as a mobile gaming device, would be very interested to see a video comparing the two, or comparing the different phone controller options.

I used to think that 120 fps isn’t necessary, but once I received my 13 Pro, I fell in love with it, although it doesn’t affect the game, the smooth animation is sooo good.

This is the main reason I still use an iPhone despite moving away from Macs. I upgrade my phone once every two to three years. The difference between the 12 and 13 is negligible but a XS or 11 Pro to a 13 Pro is actually quite significant in all the things I care about:

– Bigger battery
– better screen
– nicer camera

I dont really need a 100 watt fast charger because I still get 1.5 days out of my 11 Pro max and I just plug it in every night.
