I wonder why the price remains the same? It’s not like apple removed touchid, headphone jack, headphones and charger, made their boxes smaller to save a ton on shipment, stuck with the same port for 9 years to make royalty money and they change their design once per 3 years.

For real though, the currency difference for an iPhone 13 128GB in the US is $1100 AUD, vs local pricing of $1349.
The 13 Pro Max with 512GB in the US is $1930AUD, local pricing is $2370.

There is absolutely no excuse for such a large price difference.

The logistics of getting the device from the US to Australia, warehousing them, staff to sell and stores to rent, currency value difference etc… The price increase is too high given the gigantic profit margin of each device, but Australia is a rich country so I guess it doesn’t really matter.

lol Dave I’m in the same situation 😄 My kid is 7 and Pokemon Unite is his fav game atm so we play together – he is on our ipad and I’m on my Poco F3. We have so much family fun together that way! 🙂

I’m a fan of mobile gaming, I know that big boy battery was going to make some impressive hrs. Its the littles things now that define a upgrade for me, battery gains/software on the top of the list. I find the iPhone to be perfect template as they they improve upon that mold, crease folds and stuff like that not on my rada. about the price I said the same thing, Apple sticking with that budget range is smart. AIB GPUs the only thing skyrocketed in price

Maybe you have already looked into this before, but have you tried or would you consider having an iPad Mini with your iPhone Mini which you could use to play Pokémon Unite? Just wondering what your thoughts/opinions are on that.
