App stability is what made me switch to iPhone, hell, even Google apps are more stable on iOS than on Android. What a shame.

I’ll get right to it, Apple file system is so shit, I haven’t touched it in 20 years! yeah, it hasn’t change and if anything has got worse. How bout trying to change where it saves files on your PC, nope, the Backup is BS, and the lock down of not being able to costmise your phone is B fing S! I would gladly throw that brand new phone in the ocean for you. I wont resell it to the brain washed apple crowd, I’d rather smash it with a hammer. Damn that’d feel good! like a drug getting you huigh for the first time in the day.

There are programs that can transfer WhatsApp messages from android to iOS. It’s a bit of a hassle, and most of them cost money, but it works. I’ve transferred back and forth many times when i switched from android to iOS and back.

Why don’t I see anyone recommending shared albums? It is the best thing you can do and it does not take up space, you can put up to 5,000 photos in each album and videos, likewise it does not take up space in icloud.
I have almost 4,000 photos in shared albums and they do not take up space, it would be interesting to talk about this because many people do not know it.

I tried for a month, after not having an iPhone since the 4. And apple does so many things great, but some of the most basic stuff they can’t get right. App drawer, notifications, universal back swipe from either side (HUGE deal on larger phones and one handed use).

It’s just baffling to me how Apple could be perfect, but their stubbornness just keeps them being just shy, especially for power users.

“File system” is over-selling Files A LOT. It’s still not very user-friendly at ALL, even on the iPad…and they’re even trying to market the iPad as a laptop replacement. It doesn’t even have a file transfer progress bar! 🙁

As someone who transitioned from a OP7pro to iPhone 13pro max, some of the things I noticed:
1. iOS is absolutely not optimised for large screens and single handed use. The universal back gesture is a joke when for multiple apps I have to stretch and reach the small back button on the top left. On my OP i could swipe from either side without any problem to go back irrespective of the app.
2. Browsing. It’s a joke that apple still doesn’t allow add-ons in 3rd party browsers. I’m someone who needs to use a windows pc and I use Firefox/chrome with a lot of add-ons that have made my life way easier. But now I can’t sync my browsing history because I’ve to use safari.
3. Selfie camera- it’s a joke. Absolutely sucks. It’s decent when you’re outside but the moment you don’t have extremely good lighting, the face becomes a waterpainting.
4. Rear camera – it’s great, but not the giant leap I thought it would be. It makes my Indian skin tone orange for God knows what reason.

You’re hooked! 😁 Had similar story myself. Got tired of oversized Androids so I jumped to iphone. For the third time that is and now I’m satisfied. iOS 14 made some big changes that made me stay with iOS and not planning to switch back to Android. This just works.
