Even though I was (and still am) a PC user, I was an early adopter to iPhone, buying an iPhone 1 8GB at launch in 2007. I’ve tried Android phones several times, and although I love the Android OS on a tablet, I hate its many, MANY stability issues on a phone (and I’m talking Samsung and Pixel flagship phones, not the rinky-dinky models).
For some reason, Apple simply makes the best phones for me. It’s truly bizarre since my desktop and laptop are Windows (OS/X is absolute garbage, IMO) and my tablets are Android.
Anyway, welcome to the Apple phone club! Remember, just because you have an Apple phone doesn’t mean you have to drink ALL of the Apple Kool-Ade.
(Although I will say AppleTVs are pretty fantastic with their Airplay features).
Great video!!!! 😀
Nice video, but I’d just like to point out that losing Whatsapp chats when switching from iOS to Android and vice versa isn’t an iOS problem or an Android problem, it is a Whatsapp problem and a lot of other competing apps do retain chats when switching platforms
I been on android (Samsung, Huawei) all my life. For once I’m looking to buy an iPhone 13 pro. My question is is worth the price ?
I have to deal with an iPhone 2 times a month when I have 24-hour on-call duty at work. I get the whole it just works thing but it definitely doesn’t do it for me. The keyboard and performing corrections (moving the cursor around) in a text are atrociously bad as compared to my android (S21 ultra with GBoard installed). Also, Pixel devices are not really a good device for people that want a worry-free device as they are the first to get Google’s new software (which usually results in a buggy experience).
This is a reliable phone!
Bought the 13 Pro Max just for the battery. It may be 700mah lower than their competitors but in real life it’s 2hrs longer than other’s flagship. Tech Chap proved it
Using s22 ultra and listening to you and reading comments here i dont think I wanna make a switch to ios just yet. I believe OS has its own perks but i still prefer android. My only wish is samsung gets to the level of ios in aspect of video.
Has anyone figured out how to get WhatsApp messages from android to iOS? The initial move to iOS feature didn’t work and it seems the same for others from my reading. Any help would be great as I’m currently carrying two phones as I need access to old WhatsApp messages for work 😭 thanks in advance!
I have a OP 9 Pro and iPhone 13 mini and switch between the two depending on my mood, but I always find myself sticking to Android for longer periods of time. I love the performance, integration, and optimization that iOS has, but it’s an absolute pain in the ass trying to transfer music and photos/vids between the iPhone and my PC. I still prefer having actual music files over streaming whenever possible just because of audio quality and the convenience of having the song ready to go, but iTunes keeps glitching out and disconnecting the iPhone 99% of the time.
OxygenOS may be a joke after the Android 12 updates, but the customization, split-screen apps, picture-in-picture just makes any sort of multitasking more fluid and enjoyable. As someone who has eagle eyes and enjoy high pixel densities, I also found the 9 Pro display to be much better than the mini’s in terms of colors and contrast. I thought the smaller display would help with the lower pixel density on the mini, but I could still pick out the pixels time to time. Ironically enough, even though the 9 Pro has 120hz, either the dropped frames or latency makes it feel less smooth than the iPhone.
Battery could honestly be a toss-up depending on priorities and cameras are so good nowadays that it’s just stylistic preference, but with quirks on both platforms, I honestly just go with whichever one pisses me off the least in that moment lol
from first iphone with night mode shot, they did change some things on iPhone 13 line up, for faster shot.. its a bit dark but if you want more details you can adjust the exposure manually for more details..
anyone know where he got the wallpaper from?
8:40 that sound effect was so disturbing I spent like 30ish minutes looking out the window cause I thought someone was making weird noises. 🥲
Nah you are just lucky to be in the US. Apple Support in my country requires appointment and usually leaving your phone there for a day or up to week depending on what they need to change…
the 13 Pro is literally the perfect smartphone. At this point you only need to upgrade if you’re a tech enthusiast that wants the latest and greatest. for 90% of people, everything about the phone, the display, camera, battery life, and software, is virtually perfect
You can never get past what you are missing. You are lying to yourself.
4:24 Long press the flashlight icon in control centre to change the brightness.
This phone (the max variant) has been my first iPhone as well. And I love it, only think I would want differently is a fingerprint sensor in the screen
IOS is still stuck in the 90s. Hardware wise Apple excels over others but their ecosystem is built for idiots.
Most people don’t know the difference between wifi and internet and you want them accessing root directories
Although Android is my preferred OS, I still keep an iPhone around. I swear, I’ve genuinely tried using an iPhone, but iOS is just painful to use. From the way it does notification, to the way the settings page is organized, to the file system, to even something as simple as T9 dialing, I just don’t think I can permanently switch. I recently upgraded my Xs (10s) to an Alpine green 13 Pro Max, and bought the sequoia green Leather case (I don’t generally buy phone cases) in readiness to make the switch, but I didn’t make it past three days. My SIM card is back in my Pixel 4XL. I’ve always loved Apple’s hardware (owned an iBook G4 back in the day, currently own an iPad and use Apple TV for streaming) but iOS really needs to be tweaked some more before I can comfortably use an iPhone as a daily driver. I’m glad you’re able to look past the “minor annoyances” of iOS. Enjoy your device.
