i need to stop at around 10min … sorry.
This is cool, but not better than other … this is great, but not as good as … wow ! Feels like not a single feature is really high end, except the price xD
Looks like the 5S in great with the function of fingerpints even at the frame … :/ ( 5S was the first & last phone that i had from Apple)

So yeah, like you already said: for 999 dollar it is very pricey ! has a great notch, don´t keep the display at 120Hz (to save battery), flashlight is more dark than light ( ok, is set to medium by default )… and to be honest: if you need to buy an holder for your car to use navigation on the screen of your phone in 2022, you should save money to get another car. Hope you use a speakerphone to have your hands free while you driving. If this “to heavy” phone fly through the car cause of an accident, i hope it will not hit you.

a great collection of compromises. I don´t even care if the camera is good … or “good, but not that good like … ” – nice, not even the cam is worth it. NICE

But i need to be fair here: the connectivity in a apple environment is really good ! <- i have to admit without envy.

I went from IPhone 6 plus to pixel xl the 4xl. I think you can’t go wrong either way but as someone who doesn’t have any other Apple devices I can’t see myself going back to an iPhone. I really like stock android and have no plans on leaving the pixels, unless they really tall apart.

That ecosystem is brilliant, but it is so damm expensive. If i wanted to go the apple route, basically what i spend with samsung for phone, watch and buds (if you wait a few months when prices fall) buys me an iphone and maybe a cover.

Btw I think it would be helpful if you made detailed video regarding the android to iOS software differences only. Like Gallery app iOS seems really clutter unlike Android

I’m kinda frustrated with the current smartphone market. Still using my Oneplus 7T. Repaired it myself after dropping it. During the time I was waiting for the screen to arrive, I switched back to my HTC 10, which I was totally fine with, until Google decided to “ban” it. Idk what happened, but I can’t log into any Google apps anymore. Google support told me to factory reset, but I rather switched to my OP.

Would like to have a new phone at some point, the HTC taught me how nice it is to have a somewhat compact formfactor, a headphone jack, a micro-sd-card slot and whatever HTC does to the audio is also pretty cool.
Only downsides were mediocre performance in games, having the screen brighter than minimum really puts a toll on the battery, so do games and YouTube. But as I’m on my phone too much anyways and kind of addicted tbh, it was very refreshing. Really wish that the smartphone market will return to it’s former glory, some day.

For now I’m probably using/repairing (also not updating) my OP as long as possible.
When I’m forced to upgrade, I’m thinking about buying some old Android phone from eBay and rooting it or even using a custom rom. Maybe another HTC 10 or a phone with removable battery. I just wanna keep the data of my current phones though.

My 13 pro max is the first to phone I see holding onto for a few years. Stupid fast, amazing display, crazy battery life and a fantastic camera overall.

Idk this video confuses me a little. Ebert already was half into Apple with his Mac and IPad, but he was a hard-core Android phone guy? Obviously iPhone fits with his use case better than Android. I did the same switching to the 11 pro max for 2 years but got bored and switched to z fold 3. Difference is I don’t use Mac or iPad so it was easy to get out.

Gonna be hard to go back to reviewing android phones as you’ll keep your main sim in iPhone.
It will be hard to remember to use your android. Or you’ll put the main sim in Android and then switch back to iOS as soon as you could.
