I use an m1 MacBook Air to edit 4k videos. It’s by far the best purchase I’ve ever made for my video editing. It only cost me 800$ and it outperforms my razer blade 15 that was more than twice as much.

I’m literally planning to get a m1 macbook air for my programming course next year. This is more encouraging.
After I found out when you unplug a windows laptop it drops its performance.

I use M1 MacBook Pro since early march, the only small problems I have is when you use standard 2.4 ghz usb mouse or some entry level bluetooth mouse, sometimes the cursor is lag and there are some input lag. But I don’t have any problems with my Apple Magic Mouse 2 Never tried using higher end bluetooth mouse and at current steam version and os version, Steam Link game Streaming to my Wife Gaming PC just not working really well even when you using Wifi 6 5G, It’s lag and already freezes my mac twice.

Other than that, M1 MacBook Pro just breeze to use, it’s fast, many Graphics Design and Illustrations apps is runs natively with M1, runs cool, display is amazing, speakers is amazing, trackpad the best on the market, keyboard just one tier below the thinkpad, It’s the best laptop I ever use so far.

It’s not ideal for me as I make heavy use of x86 VMs which isn’t possible at all on M1 to my knowledge.

i recently got an m1 macbook air and 2 days ago the cpu reached 200 degrees fahrenheit. its probably just chrome being chrome but right now i have the same amount of tabs open and its only 90 degrees

Can you stop playing the music right at the beginning at the video. It’s really distracting when you are talking and some music is playing loudly on the background. Maybe just turn it off at the beginning and start when the animation intro actually starts. The transition doesn’t matter

It’s a good practice to fully reboot sometimes, maybe twice in a week, or at least once. The operating system will reorganize a lot stuff and make your OS run smoother and more reliable.
