有没有人做过测试?搭载2020款5700XT独立显卡的高配版iMac,和现在搭载苹果M1Max芯片的机型对比,在相同条件和相同的环境下,视频渲染和视频输出的速度哪个更快,
Nuanced good takes. Gotta love it.
grazie
Apple should have printed ‘ HELLO ‘ on the inside of these laptops !
every year, apple designed their products harder and difficult to fix… as apple made integrated memory etc into those mb logic board, apple never go modular…
more like fxxk you right to repair community 😑
this year’s Mac is so worth upgrading, I traded in my 2019 16’’ MBP and get the M1 Max version right after the launch, $3900 is not cheap but the performance is just way too attractive
I’m still hoping for a removable battery in future macbooks as the new processor’s performance usability could last at least 10 years and the battery won’t.
Hello, great video as always
I have ordered some tools in ifixit store Canada but , the order is canceled within 7 days, I didn’t understand why .
Any help please, thanks
As always with Apple, fantastic hardware but I can’t stand the walled garden software. I don’t think I’d change from PC/Android even if it was half the price
✌🏽
How can I upgrade SSD on my own on a Mac book pro M1 Pro/max
Wow, after all of that, only a 4 out of 10? I thought you would’ve given it a 7 out of 10. It’s not as easy as changing a lightbulb but these are complicated machines.
Personally, I’m not a big fan of the exterior design. The curved bottom with a flat top doesn’t bode well with me, even if it’s an homage to the first MBPs. Nor am I a fan of the adhesive tabs. Hated it on the MacBook, and even more on the iPhone 5. The MLB and the display removal process looks smooth. I don’t mind the notch, but I also don’t understand why people hate it so much. Surprised they added the old ports, though. Seems like Apple has case of an identity crisis. At least the M1 chip is still decent and in the end, that’s what matters most.
glued battery and non replaceable memory and storage… no thanks.
They’re getting back to basics slowly which is nice. The fact most ports are back does make me happy. But no removable/upgradeable SSD or ram makes me a sad panda. Until those options are back, they won’t see another penny from me. I’ll keep my 2010 MacBook Pro going till the end of time if I have to.
I wanted to see what’s in the notch and if could be avoided
what is in the notch that makes it so big?
Why couldn’t you show is what was in the notch?
Well, it’s trully not possible to design such laptop with that level of performance and industry standard SO-DIMMs for memory and LGA/PGA sockets for CPU.
Even DDR5, with 6000 MT/s, even running with 4 sticks (technically that’s 8 channel memory) would give them about 180 GB/s of throughput. With 4 SO-DIMMs! Maybe close enough to M1 Pro but miles behind M1 Max. Not to mention space limitations of 4 SO-DIMMs. Such arrangment would likely limit battery capacity and massively increasy power consumption, further reducing battery life.
Where are the RAM’s? o.0
