I want to know if an external GPU will be able to run Flight Simulator 2020 on a new 16 MacBook Pro running Windows 10 boot camp.
4 years of support? Dude, if that was/is true they might as well close up shop right now. Imaging buying a few kitted out racks + mac pros only to have them become worthless that fast. I would assume more like 10 years+.
Your audio and video are a little out of sync. I started noticing around 11:20
If I’m getting a MBP16 now, is it worthy to upgrade to a higher CPU? Or 32GB ram? Or 8GB GPU? Mainly using Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro, and I’m considering the upgrade mainly for future need since you can’t upgrade it yourself later on. But if you can only use it for ~5 years considering the possibility of Apple stopping the support for intel based machines, do these upgrades make no sense any more?
Ugh was about to buy one, until you said it has the same camera as my 2013 MacBook Pro with Retina Display lol
still on a battered 2012 mac pro that chokes on 4k footage so I’m definitely not waiting another 2 years
How much storage did you allocate for BootCamp?
Big Sur is the beginning of the end of macOS, as iOS is their bread-n-butter. You weren’t around during Rosetta v1, but I nearly vomited during WWDC! What a bad joke…
My 2016 MacBook Pro literally just broke yesterday 😂😂🤦🏻♂️
Brush your teeth regularly first!! 😂😂😂
My MacBook broke yesterday, thank you for telling me to wait 1-2 years.
Yeah, worth it. I’d buy this if I had the money.
My $0.02:
* If you need one right now – get it. I had to take the plunge last month because my 2013 MBP just began to randomly shut down and die.
* Buy right now if you want a mature and really fully stocked laptop. I plan on jumping on the ARM bandwagon in 3 years or so once it matures. If you bought a 15″ MBP in 2017 $2799 got you a 4-core i7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SD – in 2020 the 16″ MBP for $2799 gets you 8-core i9, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD so I feel as time goes one something real powerful and more bang for your buck will come.
* Buy now if you depend on software that needs the Intel backend
* Wait for ARM if you want the new, greatest, and latest – let’s be real ARM will be awesome for Apple
* Wait for ARM if you really want an fully optimized experience – listen to Leo Laporte and you will understand what I mean
* Wait for ARM if you are excited for iOS and iPadOS app integration
When does the new 16 MacBook Pro come out
Wow. Just got my MacBook pro through super _tech001 on 1G at affordable price. So amazing
I sold my MacBook Pro 13” 2017 and there’s no way to wait for the ARM. I bought my MacBook Pro 16” a few minutes ago! 😬
Yes it is too much to add an SD card readers because there is no space for it.
why cant they make a macbook pro 16 inch case with all the ports needed, it would connect via usb c and ya that…..
Very well put words in the end about the decision. I got you. Thank you.
16:09 That my friend it’s not 2.000 $ it’s 2.100 $
I use it for work every day, I’m a marketing automation specialist/marketing strategy manager and it’s magnificent. I couldn’t wait to ditch the air for the pro. I also do a lot of typing during my 8-hour workday and the keyboard is great, because of the size of the trackpad for the first time I also stopped taking my mouse to work It’s perfect. The downside is that it drives my windows user colleagues crazy as they have no idea how to use it. Fits without an issue in a backpack with a sleeve. My specs are 8-Core i9 2.3GHz, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 4 GB, 1TB SSD. For some occasional gaming, it even handles RDR2 in Bootcamp without a problem, although I wish I chose the 8GB version or more RAM. It was crazy expensive but I think its a good investment. The newer version is overkill for me due to the price.
