Apple has kind of been on a huge nostalgia throw in the last year or two, and I’m all for it. It’s given us some of the most gorgeously designed, creative, and even just practical devices they’ve released in a long time, all because they now have the option to innovate on that front without the involvement of Intel’s thermal antics, which i can only imagine pretty much dictated everything about a device’s design- and even THEN they still ran like crap. And they’ve also realised not everything has to be as minimal and thin as possible. Now everyone ELSE is on that trend, and has been for a while, Apple is starting to think different again to differentiate themselves from the competition. Which means practical input and output without compromise for devices like the new Macbook Pro line, added comfort from removing the Air’s wedge design, the durability of the iPhone 12 and 13’s front and back glass thanks mostly to the flat edges, and more. So far, it’s incredible, almost everything they’ve done in the last two years has been a slam dunk and I’m looking forward to seeing how they carry that momentum forward.
Apple is going to back what it was, INNOVATION, as they see very less way to move forward with things like sleeker design notches, cameras and etc.
That notch has no right being that large for just a camera
I haven’t purchased a Mac since 2010. The M1 Max was worth the wait.
Still using redmi note 7 pro. May you send me iPhone or one of those as a giveaway 😜
I dunno if it was the customers I reckon it was all the employees working from home and Johnny Ive not being as involved..whatever they fixed it.
2:13 , Naruto Realme special edition android phone.
The best review ever made about those Macbooks! Thanks!
Wait for Metal 3 and the controller support in Ventura 😉 I think we’ll be pleasantly surprised
Hi Michael! Loved the review – especially after spending such a significant amount of time on that laptop. I have the same model and use it for UX Designs and I have to admit I hate how much I love that laptop 😀 It’s expensive but working on it is purely…efficient and gets the job done 😉
I’ve switched from Intel 2019 model and Apples decision in making the newer laptop thicker and heavier gave me headaches 😀 But a pro model is focused on working on desks not laps so I got over it 😉
Keep up the great work! And damn that Surface Duo in a leather skin looks SICK AF 😀 too bad it mostly only looks sick 😉
Cheers
What was the ?Samsung model @ 8:27 ?
I just wish you would mentioned the configuration you have in it.
Its a thing that apple users are happy to crap on old hardwarde software as soon as apple drops something new admitting all the flaws everyone else saw at that time.
What specs is your Mac book pro
My google chrome crashing 3 times a week. My apps take up so much ram for simple activities like web searches and documents. 40 GB for resume on pages?! C’mon man
Waiting for your thoughts about the M2 Macbooks. Need to know what you think before I decide which one to get 😂
The brutalist minimalist utility of this laptop is amazing.
If only this could run engineering software natively. Not being able to run SolidWorks is an automatic no go for me, which is a shame since I love every other aspect of this Mac.
It’s the perfect laptop. Got it back in November 2021 and it still feels brand spanking new. Built like a tank and is super fast! Wish I bought more storage tho
If I missed it sorry, what backpack is that?
