Great vid man, but when you said it was maxed out, did you really mean that? I thought you could have 64 gigs of RAM
Great vid man, but isn’t there a 64 gig RAM model? Just heard you say it was the maxed out one, and I’m curious if you meant the RAM too, or just the GPU cores.
So basicly gaming on Mac is still not recommended
if u want use a macbook more than 10 yrs, pls dont buy it.
The reflection of those neon lights on the Macbook screen is very distracting.
You missed a few popular Native Games: Disco Elysium, Total War Rome Remastered and Baldurs Gate 3
Ещё бы понять, что ты говоришь.
The laptop gaming people also like to overlook that they have to game with their laptops plugged in to power, which sort of defeats the purpose of a laptop.
Also, these Apple silicon chips are integrated graphics by Apple. It’s not an amd/nvidea or intel/nvidea power hungry, hot, noisy tagteam.
Anybody that buys one of these specifically for gaming is nuts. I have a 2015 iMac for my design work, but I also game a few hours a day on it and love it (and get great framerates even playing AAA titles like Shadow Of Tomb Raider (at medium settings), Dying Light, Borderlands 2/3). I’m not into the boring multiplayer games that are popular these days so it’s just a perfect fit. After building myself high end PC’s for years, I will never go back to the headache of Windows/PC hardware.
Such a lame comparison… wow, the one with double the GPUs got around 2x the FPS. How about you find what settings give you 60FPS and 120FPS in these games and publish that!
Hi… What’s the next scaled resolution in this new MBP? Anyone can help? Thank you…
why no dota 2
It would have been interesting to see the CPU usage to see if there is if the GPU or CPU is the bottleneck or to put it another way could it run faster?
Is CSgo playable on basic 16 inch? (I mostly use mbp for work, not for gaming, but still wanna ask…don’t want to buy a gaming pc only for rare casual gaming..so). And one more question…since mbp now has 120hz, how to choose the external monitor?
I prefer battery life over 16 mire gpu cores
Considering how Starcraft has fallen in popularity, and it was one of my primary concerns besides dota.
I am VERY pleased that is a game you decided to benchmark.
Edit: until you didn’t try anything under ultra. The game is pretty cpu intensive but I can’t tell how much the gpu bottlenecks unless you drop settings. Would be cool to know if it’s playable on low settings.
This was great! I wasn’t planning on trying to play non-native AAA games on the 16 inch M1 Pro MBP with 32 GB RAM except perhaps to see if they would run. Now I know not to waste my time. You saved me lots unnecessary effort!
I can’t buy a mac book because it’s very expensive but I keep watching these videos😋
Great content man 👌
What about bringing in an external GPU to play these games?
Bro your lights ruined the video for me.
