Upgrading from a MacBook Pro mid 2010 model
I expect not less than having my mind blown away
Bought m2, 16 gb ram 512 hd cause well gonna be keeping this for a long time
Cant wait till I get it
Although still can do things with my old Mac ,you can only draw so much water from a well that has gone kinda dry

i’m still a proud owner of an intel i9 Macbook Pro 16” and will likely stay with it until it dies OR Bootcamp is enabled for Apple Silicon. Until then, i still appreciate my discrete GPU and compatibility, although i very much envy the newer, faster displays and more ports

I would love to have an apple laptop but it is so expensive. I just bought an HP and it is okay. I will only use it for school so no intensive work for me.

Watched tons n tons of videos in deciding between M2 Air or M2 Pro and this video has finally nailed the answer. It’s the M2 Air with 16 gigs of ram and 1 tb ssd.
Always have been a MacBook Pro user but the new M2 Pro is such a bummer with the same fat bezel design and the 720p webcam. I am full time trader (stock markets) and the M2 Air with a lil bump up in ram and memory sounds just about perfect.

Cheers for this video as now I can rest in piece about choosing the M2 Air over the M2 Pro.

Not worth it. M1 Air gets you do much for a lot less. M1 Air is 699 refurbished with warranty.

I am still using the macbook pro i bought in 2012. I was the last model with a spinning Harddisk and a builtin CD-drive… I updated it a little with more RAM and an SSD. This because there was no other macbook with this Keyboard.. the newer generations didn’t do it for me. It looks like with the new editions of macbooks that is finally changing back. This Air looks like a good substitute. It should be powerfull enough to run any DJ software too.

Undoubtedly there are tons of better screens out there for much less money but they don’t have MacOS. Indeed, Windows is much over-rated.

Recently ordered the M2 Air. Looks like I got the 512 GB with 8GB of Ram. Would it be better to get 256 GB with 16 GB of Ram for the same price?

I was waiting for the new MacBook in late 2021, but it never happened, so decided to buy the M1 MacBook Air (to replace my 2015 macbook pro because sound is effed, and battery was bloated). Best decision. The price point of the M2 air is a joke (in Singapore)

Anyone also concern about the darkness of the Apple Logo on the Midnight colour? I checked in Apple Store that and notice that the Apple Logo is too dark.
When looking from the backside after opening the lid, it looks like that the logo is kind of disappeared. It looks the whole backside is completely dark without any logo. This issue dose not happen on any other colours.
