I bought a 1B Samsung T5 as well. Easy to get more storage and spent my upgrade money for the 16gb of ram. Bought a Dbrand skin and a throw it in a sleeve.

That is very rare that you are having your M1 Macbook Air shut down on its own… I have the same computer, and it hasn’t happened to me yet, and I have had it for about the same time that you have had it. I would suggest that you let Apple’s Customer Support so they can run testing… Also, I would love to know what kind of task were you doing when it unintendedly shuts down on you.

Have you used Adobe After Effects or Premier Pro on your MacBook Air? I’m still trying to decide if I would need the Pro to play it safe when it comes to video editing, photoshop, and 3D work.
