Sir can you please tell me what affects more on performance core or ram specifically in case of MacBook which provides 8 core or 7 core GPU and 8 gb or 16 gb ram and which model should I purchase as a civil engineering student

I have a dell xps 7590. It has 16gb ram and nvidia graphics card. I’m not happy with the performance of it. Would you recommend getting a macbook air m1 with 16gb ram to replace it for 4K video and photo editing?

1.what if I want to share data and files from any phone or laptop to MacBook, can any Pendrive will work?
2. Does it require to buy apps like excel, word and main apps to work on and other software?
Does it make me spend more and more money to work ???

Great review, this is the first video of yours that I have seen and it earned a sub. I’m on the fence between the MacBook Air and the new iPad Pro with the M1 chip. I have an older 2014 MacBook Pro that still runs flawless but I can’t do 4K video and as other apps such as Lightroom get more intensive I’ve noticed that it gets hot trying to keep up.
