I was gifted one of these as my graduation present and I couldn’t be more thankful! I’ve been using a mac mini for work this past month and the OS is so ridiculously user friendly. Plus it feels good to know that I’ll be able to squeeze this thing for seven or so years.

got mine a month back, hard swtitching from my windows laptop to mac, trying to figure it out, but the battery on my M1 is INSANE, and how imaginably quiet IT IS! thanks for your review, informative 🙂

I returned a laptop to Costco to get the Macbook Air M1. I have not looked back. It handles everything including my Cities:Skylines habit. Yes, it does play Cities:Skylines far better, smoother and faster than my desktop PC. The only time it get charged is when I am ready to turn in for the night. Since I got this, I have never tethered to the wall to do anything I need to do. Thanks for this video.

Just ordered mine should be here tomorrow..I have a Dell gaming laptop I would like to keep just for my games and nothing else. This will be my “work” laptop. Ahh first apple computer so exciting 😊

I 100% can attest to that Mouse issue.
I use the Mx Master 3 with the Air, It’s not smooth and sometimes the shortcut buttons I setup to each key won’t work.

Having moved from a 15 pro to a 13 inch air productivity takes a hit on the smaller monitor. That and the lack of ports are the things I miss. Other than that it’s an amazing laptop that doesn’t get in the way of what you want to do.

I am going to buy my first apple but I can’t make up my mind to get the Intel imac (27 inch ) or and m1 mac mini or m1 air or pro.

I do moderate editing ( most likely will be using imovie and garage band ) I download videos and books. I want something that will last me longer than 3 years ……. That will be able to do anything I throw at it without having to restart it. My current windows computer, I bought it like 3 years ago and I can’t even use it to it’s full potential and every month I end up or it resets it self …. One time I couldn’t find the bluetooth and after 5 months fingerprint is broken.
