Would you recommend the 8gb ram version for a fluent usage of Lightroom (and Photoshop)? Not a professional full time photographer, but wanna work on my editing skills of course.

thanks for the review! 2 things come to my mind:
1) the bestbuy guy seemed to have no clue whatsoever… an 8Gig Ram M1 MBA crashing just because you do 4K editing? That’s nuts. But he’s a sales guy so that’s OK
2) in the beginning I also disliked having only USB-C ports. But I got all the cables in the USB-C version (which I recommend you should so as well) and love it!! much smaller and versatile connector and no guessing which way to plug it in.

you need to stop using USB A devices or get USB A to USB C cables so you don’t need dongles. but yeah, USB-C is the future

I was editing on a MBAir 8c/8g/8GB/512GB in Lightroom, 100 photos, and I felt like it was heating up more than what I was expecting after watching all the positive reviews about the MBA, and around 50th photo, I noticed some slow down, nothing too annoying; I still got through the edits, but yeah. Camera was a Fuji XF-10. Wondering if I’m ok where I’m at or if I should explore a 16GB version, or even just an 8GB Pro for the fans?

Which one should I get for Photoshop/Lightroom??? MacBook Air 16GB OR MacBook Pro 8GB since they both are available around same price!!!

Excellent reviews 👍 short and to the point. Curious, which processor did you go with?

If you can do more videos just like this one direct and to the point but more specifications and maybe show connections and options briefly, if it doesn’t have let’s say a USB like you were talking about. Show a name and option to buy. Maybe a link. Thank you so much
