I just want a macbook that doesnt heat up when i browse the internet do basic typing stuff and watch netflix and youtube. Can the air do that without becoming an oven or should i wait for the pro?

I think Apple missed a significant opportunity here. It’s a mediocre ultra book. Thermal issues should not be a thing. The webcam still being 720p after all these years is honestly embarrassing. The specs on paper look decent though. But like you said, it doesn’t live up to that price.

Mac books airs are for their battery life, but they don’t have heatpipes and fans spin faster? shorter batterylife ? and also there is enough space for a heatpipe…

I f you got MacBook air now or recently jump on Stadia asap, the service is amazing if you like gaming, I do not care what anybody else will say too me, I’ve just experienced it today and it is the best decision I’ve ever made ever #FuckTheHatersInTheGamingCommunity
