Noisy, average webcam and battery life? So disappointing Apple.
I would not want to have a touch screen MacBook Air because I hate having fingerprints on my screen now, imagine if I was just touching my screen all day every day.
I hate seeing smudges on my laptop’s screen… so having no touchscreen on my macbook air isn’t a big deal for me.
‘Chrome is a fact of life for prople’

My laptop is touch screen and I never touch it. iPad is meant to be touched, laptop has a trackpad.
This is a good option for anyone who is looking for an upgrade. The magic keyboard and the enhanced processor are really impressive.
I need helps! I am getting a MacBook, but which one! The MacBook Air overheats easy and I do some small photo edits and some graphic design and other student stuff. Any configuration recommendations?
3:09 “If Apple can figure out how to add trackpad support to iPadOS, it can probably figure out how to add touch support to macOS.”
But that’s the point – of course it can. Not doing so, whilst beefing up the internals on the iPad and moving to an all-ARM processor array across laptops and iPads, is deliberate. Touch screens on non-convertible laptops are highly overrated. Apple created the multi-touch tablet experience we know and love today on the iPad. It has realised that if you want powerful mobile computing with touch support, the iPad Pro is now the way to go.
Is the iPad Pro there yet? Not quite – support for power users’ external accessories could be better. But it’s very close, and the direction of travel is for the iPad Pro to be the touch screen laptop people want – only much better than the competition, because the OS was always built for multi-touch interaction.
I bought the 512gb MBA 2020 with an i7 and ended up having to call Apple support after just FIVE days from delivery as the fans weren’t kicking in and the laptop was getting extremely hot even when running very simple tasks (2 tabs on Safari). The fans were just not working *at all*
Ended up having to take it on a 3hr drive to the nearest Apple store and they originally didn’t believe me even with notes from apple support over the phone. They supposedly ‘fixed it’ but even now it gets rather warm and I can’t hear the fan at all even in an almost silent room. Not impressed. Should’ve changed it for a MBP with the same amount of storage.
7:00 Ipad Air?? 😂
Touchscreen Windows Laptop Users – Where u at???
I was thinking about buying this to use light room to edit photos and vids from a mavic, but also use it for uni. Is there an alternative or would it work ok for that?
