great review, thanks! i am going to be using adobe creative apps on my laptop which is on the way (same as yours, base i5) but i haven’t been able to find any reviews on creative work other than video editing. do you happen to know how the laptop functions for that kind of work? like does it lag and or heat up a lot etc?

I wouldn’t want to worry about storage/ memory etc. Also how do you back up on the MacBook Air? My laptop (an old 2008 Packard Bell model) is not receiving any updates at all for iTunes so I can’t backup my iPhone or iPad either (they are both old models too and discontinued—iPad2 and iPhone 4S). Excited for MacOS Big Sur, especially the website preview feature. Deciding between an iPad Pro 2020 and MaccBook Air 2020.

hi, I want to use for the Macbook AIR for study purpose (ms office, safari for data research, online class), but I also want to use Affinity Photo for photo editing as a hobby (raw file), do you think Macbook air 512gb 16 ram is suitable for me?

I bought this model about 2 month ago and regretted it because of its thermal issues. I personally don’t experience any issues unless I do video calls. Google meet and Skype make this machine so hot (90-93 degrees) that I only can use it with a disabled turbo boost. When turbo boost is on it quickly hits 100 degrees and stay there. Zoom a FB messenger are better but still i got 80-85 degrees.

Hello-I have the 2017 Macbook Air 13 inch with the 1.8 GHZ, Intel I5 & 8GB Ram & 256 SSD. Obviously this is working well but I noticed the trade in value exceeds $300. Which got me thinking about upgrading to the 2020 Macbook Air 13 inch but also paying the extra $100 for the Intel I5. I would appreciate your thoughts about the current version and the new 2020 version.
Keep up the great work. I am searching for more of your videos.
P.S. The doggle you recommend for the 2020 version is perfect. Just what I would need/want

I am not going to lie I bought this and almost regret this but as I became use to it one thing I learned is to use this computer for its intended use. At first I had heating issues but after I reset it and set up as new and restoring my data from iCloud was the best thing and my heating issues are no longer the case even if I am using Chrome for work.
