Webcam in 2019 Macbook Air is extremely bad. Therefore wanted to get a written authorization from Apple Store in Bondi Junction, Sydney so that I can return the MacBook air at my local Officeworks.The genius guy compared it to other Macbook Air in store and said the quality looks the same so according to him there is no fault. Same means all the webcams are similarly bad. He said as an Apple representative he cannot say or write their products are bad. Probably now stuck with an expensive device with bad webcam. I have a surface laptop 1st Generation with a similar 720p camera and picture quality is crystal clear, and Apple says there is no fault.

thats why I purchased the classic MacBook Air. they call me a mad man! who cares. The screen is not the best one but the priceeeee (£749) is a bargain for the classic Air. A laptop supposed to be portable and the new ones only with the C ummmmm is not for me. I can go around with a dungle or other B&^%$$$%. The classic with the USB port, the T port and my buddy Jack is my choice and come onnnn!!! no key problems.

I’m a Win10 fan. BUT this is much cheaper if you compare equivalent screen quality – 100%+ color gamut, Full HD. My dream Netflix player for tv episodes. On the other hand I just found out that Apple obsoleted my early 2011 Macbook Pro – not only are there no more MacOS updates, but not even Chrome is available on it anymore. Sheesh. A Thinkpad from 2011 merrily runs Win10.

original air rocked!!! if only, apple would make it easy to install latest macos on older computers or security updates for snow leopard. if only they would also release security updates for ios 6 as well as it is the last ios with a steves jobs feel to it, making it better than all newer ios’s.

MacBook with soft keyboard with haptic feedback. Essentially a glass display where the keyboard is, with raise rubber pads (similar to what’s on the F and J keys) so you know where your fingers are landing, or laser etched lines to differentiate the keys.

I’d still like Apple to release stats on actual keyboard failure rates. I know they won’t but it would be helpful to gage the issue.

I’ve bought the 2012 Macbook Air and despite the low storage SSD (128GB) and the now vicious battery, it works really great for me. No other computer I’ve had lasted this long and still being this great to use for daily tasks (programming and web-based content); heck, it still get updates to this day that doesn’t brick the computer!

I’m waiting for a decent Macbook again to upgrade this one. Until then, I’m sticking with this champ.

I must say I agree……plus it has the rose gold which I absolutely adore. The rose gold alone is what’s driving me to the air… at least it’s cheap enough …whereas if they do fix the keyboard issue on the pros. I’ll be able to purchase when it comes out…….but I still wonder. Although I was going to take the air up to a 16GB and 256 storage….. will it hold up….hmmmm.i think so…for the time being. I’ve been on my airpad for about a month with no issues…so going from this to A laptop temporary should ok…..right ?….ahhhhh…😑😑😑😑😑Apple definitely didn’t make this easy….hopefully they put some color in the new Mac lineup…but I know that’s highly unlikely….but a person can wish right
