I wish Apple would offer the Air with the option of an i7 or U processor, or I wish they would offer the Pro without TouchBar but with Touch ID (keyboard layout like the Air) with the 8th gen processors.

Ill start college in a few months, ill be studying software engineering, and i need a laptop for that.
So, can this macbook air (256 GB version) handle my software engineering needs (as a college student)??
Lastly… There is something that iam SO concerned about for some reason because of those reviews i watched….. Is the screen brightness really bad? I wont be using it outdoors, but maybe in a Bright room tho…. Will 300 nits do the trick?
