Kind of. Without a disk drive Ill probably download movies and podcasts to watch on the go. I have like 15 GB of music too. Shit starts adding up, but Lew made it seem like 128 gb is more than enough. :/ I’m torn.

U can always get a 13 inch pro for 1,199 that has essentially twice the storage and upgrade it eith 8 gb of ram for the samething as the air

Do a comparison between the old and the new MacBook air?

Is the better power worth buying one of the newer models?
For average users.
Or do they better go with the old model, which would mean that they could spend less money…

128gb is enough if your using the machine as an extra pc, on my desktop ive used tb’s. I will only store some media and files when i get an air, its far more worth it to have a very fast ssd and not to store files for a long amount of time (store them eslewhere if you want to keep them), than have some slow hdd.

Something he failed to mention also, is that the ssd’s in the new air’s are around twice as fast as the previous stock, giving you a read speed of +400MB/s which will honestly make a difference to general purpose use and loading applications – with that, the great form factor and the increased screen resolution, it makes the air far better than the equivalently priced pro.

Hey buddy thanx for this video n your honest opinions,cause i’m that guy who represents most comsumers who use it for your everyday task,but because everyone else gets hung up on numbers n stats they think they need to go out n buy the latest n greatest,even though when they bought theirs they were told they had the latest n greatest n that they would never need anything else.So keep up the good work.
