I’d say 11, the 13 is amazing but if you’re gonna carry it around most of the day you’ll appreciate the smaller size

Either way it’s going to weigh basically nothing. I would say go for the 13. If you want an 11″ notebook, I’m not sure that you need to spend $1000.

Actually macs can get viruses, A lot of people think they cannot however with the world market of mac users only being around 20% apple why would a virus writer target 20% when they can target the 80% pc users. I have a custom gaming pc at home however I use apple at my new job and they can both get viruses on them

I was thinking of getting the base model 2012 MacBook Pro (w/o Retina) and replacing the hard drive myself, with an SSD. However, I think you just sold me on the MacBook Air 13″ Base Model, the form factor, sleek design and lighter weight will go much further than the MacBook pro which in my opinion is starting to look rather clunky. Thanks for the awesome review!

@vlinee because uses the latest cpu from intel the “ivy bridge” cpu, remember that the older generation was sandy bridge.
