BY FAR THE MOST HELPFUL VIDEO I have seen regarding Macbook Air Vs Macbook Pro … But I want to get an Air but will with stand the odd play of Sims 3? – if I use a portable disk drive that is 🙂

get the macbook pro, the macbook air better for people who just want to surf the web and check emails. If you want to do some video editing you should go to the macbook air. I believe the 13 inch macbook pro baseline model is the same price as a 13 inch macbook air.

i went to the apple store in order to talk to a specialist and he told me that the air is equally as powerful as the pro but much more portable. the air will do smaller tasks faster than the pro, the specialist said. the pro’s processor is obviously faster but the air has a turboboost which is to say that if you are doing something like editing videos or photos or something that the air will momentarily have a faster processing power. but go talk to a specialist at an apple store if you can

Hey guys I have a windows 7 computer that I use pretty much for gaming and a little editing. I find that a MacBook air 2008 could be just for me cause I only really want it for school and iMovie. Should I get the 2008 or should I get the 2013 for my bday.

Macbook Pro, it’s got a more powerful processor; you can create videos faster, more storage; you can store more of your covers on your computer. The trade off between Macbook Pro and Macbook Air is really portability, since portability isn’t your primary concern, the Macbook Pro seems the better option. That said, it is still a very portable computer.

I’m pretty sure people don’t compare getting a Retina Macbook Pro or a Macbook Air. More like 13 inch Macbook Air and 13 inch Macbook Pro since they are the same price, people wonder whether the slower CPU with SSD is better than the faster CPU with the HDD.

I wouldn’t recommend purchasing a Mac book pro “with retina display’, as if you were to have problems with your screen as such, the retina is conneced to the mother board making it alot harder (and costing alot of money) to fix the issue.

If your concern is youtube videos, get a cheaper laptop, not a macbook, it’s a waste of money. If you can afford it, go ahead.

Hi guys, a lot of people have this question so it would be great if some of you could help me out. Im heading off to college and i’m deciding between the newest 13 inch macbook air and macbook pro. What would be the better buy for the student and can the macbook air handle large scale programs? Thanks so much.
