OS X does something called Supersampling that does pixel doubling throughout the interface. It’s an improvement in the way the iPad 2 -> iPad 2012 was an improvement. You do have the option for extra screen real estate if you want it though I wouldn’t recommend it all the time, it will hurt your eyes.
People say its just a gimmick but, all manufacturers are starting to use them 🙂
Thanks for the review… It helped me a lot!;)
Great review man, am getting one for my bday but I never knew which one to get n av watched loads of vids n it’s urs the only one that made complete sense it helped me make a decision. Thnx for ur help 🙂
Good Review, you get my mind clear
this video was an instant subscribe, and and i now know what mac i’m gonna get!
maybe it is good for you if you delete stuff
Was that sarcastic? I also need one for my education, also worried about 128GB
Would you say the new ASUS zenbook is a more appealing buy than this macbook air?
I’m surprising myself by sounding old…but eight years ago when I bought my first laptop it only had 60gb. If you take a lot of photos, dl videos (w/netflix/youtube/hulu who needs to?), have an extremely extensive music collection…you’ll need external storage. These days they’re cheap and really portable so two years in if you need one, do it then. The trick is to buy what you need now, not necessarily four years down the line. For college you’ll be fine.
can you do a review about macbook air skin and which brand is better? thanks ^^
this isn’t really a review, more or a comparison.
For basic documents. If you are doing media, you would need a back up storage.
you could always get a portable hard drive.
You can get a USB 3.0 External HDD for cheap man, and they are lightning fast.
or you could spend 800$ and build a desktop that can do way more than any macbook could do.
way better than pro
so i plan on getting a macbook
i work at best buy so im limited to what they have and the 2 im looking at
is the 13 inch pro i7 8gb ram 750gb hard drive.
or
the 13 inch air with 4gb ram and 256gb solidstate….
now the ssd is making me lean toward the air.
but the extra processing power and ram is looking attractive as well on the pro.
I plan on doing very light gaming. most graphical game is going to be diablo 3.
also plan on doing some music production and video editing.
wht should i get?
Is it just that having problems while watching youtube videos on my macbook air?
What would you recommend for programming apps with c++?
