How well would The Sims 3 run on the highest graphics settings? Please answer!
Finally, a review where somebody isn’t afraid to state their opinion and then follow up with an explanation.
@steakup97 my 4 year old base model MacBook runs sims 3 so the air would run it easily but remember no disc drive
So you think 128GB will be enough for 4 years as a college student?
Nice video and what type of dining set you have?
In my opinion no. Im in middle school and Im using this computer with 256GB hard drive. I have already used 85GB of it so I don’t it will be enough for 4 years.
I think it will be enough if you are just going to use it for school. But if you are downloading a lot of movies, just send it over to an external hard drive. Problem solved 🙂
Can I run Microsoft office on this without bootcamp or parallels? I just want know because I want use this for school and it’s just easier to use word or powerpoint instead of pages or keynote, more so powerpoint. I know I could get a pc for a few hundred dollars, but i like the mac OS and form factor better. Thanks if anyone can let me know.
If you don’t have to take it to school you should buy an iMac, but you probably need a laptop on school… the price of the air 13 inch is the same as the price of a pro 13 inch. they both have the same dual-core processor but with the pro you can choose between 2.5 or 2.9 GHz(300$ more), the higher the better, the air has only 1.7 GHz, and for programs like fotoshop and other programs for art courses you will need a laptop with high GHz, so the pro is recommended.
Looking for some advice, any is greatly appreciated.
Im going to University soon and I have my eye on this machine. Outright I am buying the protection plan and office for mac. I also want the 13” because I will be reading a lot.
My course shouldn’t demand high-end specs.
Already for me this is costing around $1800. I am interested in upgrading my machine, as a priority the processor, ram is a maybe.
Should I get this machine and spec it to my fanciful levels, or should I leave it?
Im not interested in high gigabytes for storage either.
Should I just spec out the high end 11inch?
would you recommend it as a “Main-Computer”??
Or do you think it’s not really powerful enough?
Nice Vids btw 😉
i would get it and spec it what have you got to lose, it can only get faster
Brilliant review. Thanks 😉
Good on you, sheep, good on you!
Great Video! Thanks. 🙂
The retina display is just a gimmick at this time, 2880-1800 on a 30″ monitor? YES tremendous increase in work space real estate. 2880-1800 on a 15″ workspace… not so much, sure you could fit everything pixel for pixel on both, but you wouldn’t be able to read anything on the 15″
Great review!
