Well actually if you don’t care about specs but you want more Screen Resolution then your only choice is the macbook pro, but if your happy with 1440×900 resolution and you want portablity then the macbook air is for you

you can upgrade the flash storage in the air and the macbook pro retina display version. thats about it.

i just got a 2011 macbook air 11inch (cheapest model) for $600 im so happy even though is not the newest one!! but seriously $600!!

What is better for me . im learning how to program. i currently know java and learning objective-c i was wondering of buying the macbook pr 13″ high end. or the high end macbook air 13″ . but i kinda need storage so i was thinking of getting the 13″ pro and when high memory ssd’s get cheaper buy one of those later.

Thank you for your answer. I gonna buy in the next weekend my first Mac:D and i will take a 15″ Macbook pro, it’s just looks the perfect size for me. I only doubt if i should take the retina Macbook pro or not. but it’s again 400euros more for me (Europe). It’s only the flash memory trough what i’m not sure. But i think the just take the past generation;)

I have a tower PC that has a disk drive. I have never used it before… Please think about the fact that people buy what they NEED and not what they could have and not use.

You are jealous Alienware don’t have options to add Flash storage…. flash is like 3 times faster than a regular HDD, also its a lot smaller.

after doing a lot of research i just got my first mac. Its the new 2012 13” air. The only upgrade i got was a bust of ram from 4 to 8 gigs. This video helped a lot in giving me some good idea about why i want the new air, and justifying the price. thanks a lot.

Would you suggest the 13″ Air or 13″ Pro. I’m a college student and I’m planning on going into the field of art. Lets say one of my art courses required certain programs such as Photoshop or something similar, would the Air be able to handle it. The Air is just so thin and portable but does it perform at a similar rate to the regular Macbook Pros?

If you feel 4.5 pounds is to heavy to carry around each day get the air. The pro is better but not by so much as it used to be. I have the pro but i find after a while at school it can get a bit heavy and im thinking of purchasing an air for school and leave the pro at home.

this might be a typical question but I really need your help !I’m a junior high school student,now I’m using macbook white mid 2009 and planning to change it.should I buy this new macbook air or the old macbook pro ? (I don’t really like the price of the retina display one,it doesn’t make sense) I used my laptop to surf the internet,microsoft office,some editing with photoshop,garageband,and maybe some mini games.any suggestion please ? 🙁
