What’s your mac mini model? Is it a m2 pro? Is this any bluetooth issues? Thank you🙏🏻
does the 4 usb/c thunderbolt version support more than 2 displays?
thats a sweet FFVII tshirt dude
ASRock nuc box 1260p blows this away but$200 more. You can change the ssd and up to 64GB RAM. I do own a Mac mini m2. I would sum it up as a cheap fast computer with 8gb RAM so make sure you’re only doing a few things at a time with it. I also own the nuc box mentioned above with 32gb RAM 1tb ssd + 2tb hdd.
how about just throw its to trash
Hey Greg! Should it be a no brained to upgrade to 32gb 1T ssd for light after effects/ heavier video editing in premiere? I think you said in one of the videos Apple optimizes certain apps and memory or gpu (can’t remember) might not matter as much anymore?
How many time can you say the same thing differently… Geesh
I was sad to hear that it doesn’t actually support Dolby Atmos. Almost perfect media console.
Hey dude I like your t-shirt, it looks like Hugo Boss but I’m not sure. What’s the brand? I want one! 😊
Struggling to see the advantage (unless you’re a fcp or logic user) over a ryzen 5/7/9 mini pc. Where you can up ram and swap out hard drives and, as far as audio, avoid for now, software compatibility issues.
Added a TB3 external NVMe enclosure and a 2TB NVMe for $250. Upgrading to 2TB through Apple would be $800 and you lose the initial 256Gb SSD from the base model. As far as speed it may not be as fast as the Apple 2TB upgrade but as fast if not faster then the initial 256GB SSD in the base Mac Mini. Value for money and the performance make it a common sense move for most people.
Having PCIe4 Gen 4 x4 NVMes, slower NVMes, SATA SSDs, SATA HDDs and USB NVMes on my PC I am quite familair with how each storage format performs. To be honest the external approach is a realistic solution for people who could use the $550 saving elsewhere or just save spending so much.
In the past and on an extreme budget I used a USB 3.1 (not 3.0 as USB 3.1 is twice as fast) SATA to USB 3.1 Adapter and a 1TB SSD for $62. It is quite usuable for running programs from, etc.
i have never had any bluetooth or wifi problems with my M1 mac mini explain that
I opted for the base M2 Pro Mac Mini plus upgrading to 10g ethernet.
My M1 Mac Mini has worked well so not really that bothered about upgrading. I might think about it in a few years with the next iterations, M3 or M4.
I’m running mine in the basement without a monitor, keyboard, or mouse. I just did the 16GB bump. That’s it. It’s doing stuff for a good price.
Spicy Queso pop corners are tasty!
The M2 Pro base model Mac mini is the first Mac I’ve ever purchased, I have absolutely no regrets. It plays the three computer games I play AMAZING. It works so well with my iPad Air 5th gen and my phone. Definitely recommend.
I love my M1 16gb. The Mac mini is the best deal in computing currently, and to think it’s from Apple!
So gooooood!!!! You are so positive and real! Thank you. Any shortcomings can always be worked around.
Would it work with an 8k ( 60 Hz ) TV, with hdmi 2.1?
