I got 14 inch but I bought it in December 2022 it’s much easier to carry ! I wanted newer version in smaller 13 inch but newer version doesn’t come in 13 inch ! What’s the point of laptop/ portable computer if you are still going to get huge ass 16 inch screen!

Personally, what I want is 32GB RAM max in the consumer-level M3 chip, and for that to get put into the Mac Mini A-SAP. I don’t know if I can be fine with an iMac seeing as I HAVE GOOD, WORKING I/O PERIPHERALS and an externally-powered hub. They really have to sell me on going with that instead of a Mac mini. The most I would need is a new Magic Trackpad, but the keyboard, no. I get by on what I already have that’s wired and a passthrough for my wired mouse; dependable, consistent, and I have a wireless option as backup already.

All of this is predicated on the fact my Late ’14 Mac is currently starting to show troubling signs, and I may be facing hardware failure sooner rather than later… as a “pro-sumer” I’d rather NOT be forced into the Pro model just for the 32GB RAM that I know my use case requires, BUT I may not be able to hold out for M3 desktops if the worst comes to pass on my end, so it could be an M2 Pro Mac Mini for me.

The M3 has a new ray tracing engine. Do not incorrectly think CPU speed is the same as M3RTE speed. This is going to be FAST!

Whatever I will get next it will have 32GB RAM. and depending on the M3 price it might be a M1 Max Mac Studio.
