আফা, স্যান্ডোগেঞ্জিটা সোন্দার লাগতেয়াছে 😅
very very good review .
So basically get a M1 with 16GB and have zero regrets. No reason to pay more. Thanks. This sold me.
What’s up with “not benchmarking video and architectural workflows” because “for that you’d rather buy the 14 inch”? Maybe people can’t afford the 14 and prefer upgrading to an M2 MBP, to take advantage of the GPU upgrade?
What about giving only a rough battery life estimate?? You didn’t even bother to finish testing that.
The Verge’s review quality is going downhill
reviewing like people upgrade their laptops every single year. Of course the changes/ updates are not going to be drastic, they are just refreshing their previous models with slightly better components. No one is going to upgrade their macbooks each year, there might be some, but they are outliers.
Did this lady really benchmark with Google Sheets. This is a web based application, your internet speed has more to do with it than the CPU, you’re basically bench marking a browser.
This is why even chromebooks can run Sheets smoothly…
I used to love apple but now I just feel they are holding their tech back by not advancing the ipad to its full potential. Apple need to have mac like operating system on ipad with M1 and bin off the laptops in my opinion currently they just have half baked laptops and ipads for the sake of sales
Whats with the color grading quality of this?
I wonder how Apple is going to handle marketing chips after the M1. The M1 SoC for a computer was a big deal and SoC bringing a lot of performance increases. Then the M1 Pro and Max so have some real burners for procumer level people. M1 for for your typical user is a point of diminishing return, faster chips are going to less and less noticeable. Even moving into procumer users and the video heavy improvement are closing in for them too, but they would like some more rendering speed. So Apple with it SoC has a Marketing issue how do you sell faster systems when you current system have already hit the point of diminishing returns and further improvements will be harder and harder sell.
“Google sheets with hundreds of rows” lmao
I didn’t realize how close the price is to a similar specced M2 MBP pro 13 is to the M1 MBP 14
The first 12 seconds almost made me smash my 14″ MBP haha!
Bring back Dieter this reviewer is terrible 😂
It’s not “exactly” the same if it has differences, words matter!
New review Monica 👍
Plz compare m2 macbook air vs m1 macbook pro
Shouldn’t the graph at 2:25 say “higher is better”?
The Macbook is good for Creative profession. Not for Software profession other than Web Developers
Its over-powered for nothing run at it.
Bought the m1 13” pro before the 14” models came out to replace my dead 2013 Mac. I don’t see any point of even including the Touch Bar when they could definitely include the function keys and pass on some savings to the consumer. Also the fact this doesn’t have HDMI for a ‘pro’ model makes me question why this exists when there’s not that many options for usb-c monitors. As a ‘pro’ user that doesn’t need the horsepower of the 14” and 16” I think Apple still has a grey area that could be filled unless they’re trying to bump people into spending more money.
