I made a few render comparissons in Premiere and Davinci between my notebook Lenovo Legion gtx 1060 32gb ram and M2 16gb, and guess what? Legion from 2017 is faster…

I’d max out the entire machine. 2TB of storage and 24GB of unified memory. But then, there’s the 14″ MacBook Pro with better options. You can put the M1 Max chip in it and have way better performance on that.

I admire how Ben explained on the spot on comparisons. Though this is the reality on how we use it everyday, test, observe, check on the results, timing, last thing is the quality based on the price itself. Though, if Steve is still alive to date, definitely he will get a jet plane gas and burn it, he will tell “show me the best you got” bashing to his employees.

I am also interested on shifting to other products which is economical like System76, though it is not available for shipping in my location. The reason behind on this is they implement low latency hardware, which I believe this could be an alternative for Mac products these days.

Intel cpus nowadays, it is way by low far compare to mac cpus as they are now pushing to ARM based, ligther, better on temp issues, gpu management. Compare to Intel based, performance, temp and gpus are always need to be alerted, aside from storage optimization. If you are newbie on these areas, then you are stuck up doing game development for instance totally waste of money and time struggling.

Hey man great video. Would the Mac book pro 13 M2 CHip with 256 SSD 16B Memory be great for editing a feature film on Davinci Resolve 18? If not what would you recommend for a good system to operate on?

How about the basic macbook pro m2 with 8gb ram will it do good with video editing for content creating, i do cooking vids that take about 10-15 mins a few vids a week

Your review is completely fake . For you editing is only rendering. But 99.9% is performing on a timeline with graphics, color grading and color correcting. You didn’t know about video codecs and how it works on the MacBook pro timeline. Looks like a paid review. Sorry mate but unsubscribed

Hello Ben! Thank you for the review! Just wondering, I currently am editing 4K RED footage for films on premiere pro on a MacBook Air 2019 intel and the lag is so very awful I can’t do my work. My question is would this MacBook Pro m2 2022 be more efficient with editing 4k footage and also stop the lag on my footage when it is in premiere pro too? Thank you!
