Parts bin macbook. Rather than front the cost of new tooling they can just repurpose left over casings from unsold inventory.

I’m torn I am wanting the m2 chip and the air has mag safe and new color for the pro it’s the same and while I’ll be using it for school but also for AutoCAD, I know windows can be better but with pay latter and installments with Apple Card it’s beneficial for me to use my credit. So now I’m stuck on which to get.

Autocad works while not the best but I have a fully built PC to do heavy loads. The laptop will be touch ups in CAD and math lab mainly.

You would think Apple would have figured out how to support more than 1 external monitor on 13″ MBP. Or was it on purpose?

People talk about Mac book experience l…I have been using MacBook for last 9 months for work and I absolutely detest the experience. Three key shortcuts, force use of mouse for many tasks, Alt+tab or Ctr+ArrowKey, limited RAM, resetting power settings…are just not for me. Either Linux or Windows (not that we have support for WSL).

I like the analysis you did at the end there and yeah cos it’s apple that’s why it still works for them.
