If it ain’t broken don’t fix it. That “old” chasis in the macbook pro has a better trackpad and better speakers than any windows computer, better design, still looks classier than any windows laptop. Apparently a screen having bezels (a screen that by the way has more pixel density and higher brightness than most of the competitors) is all it takes to call something “outdated” or “old”.

I bought the 8GB Ram and 512 GB SSD model. Once the swap memory is activated, the MacBook shows some stuttering and feels lagging. Has anyone experienced this?

you are right , banking , corporate, busniess, schools , consumer, everyone use Apple Mac computer because apple experience is so smooth, what a stupid review, dear apple is limited to few things thats why , where windows run on so many platforms and they work 100x times more to make things smoother, if u take Micosoft a side , then i will ask u to buy apple .. 👎

Dave will always buy laptops like g15 and x16 flow there is no way Dave will prefer working laptops he only play games so this laptop is for students for sure

Such a vague, uninformative video of pure waffle. Dave here is just pulling up numbers comparing m1 and m2, he hasn’t addressed the issue of slower read and write speeds with the 256ssd m2 model which is sad as no one will know what they are getting into

The following will sound a bit harsh but is a point that has to be made. The fact that people consider MagSafe important in 2022 with batteries lasting the whole day, shows that they can’t think for themselves.

Apple made an impact when they decided to use type c only and it was hard but it finally made sense. To go back to many useless ports (type c covers them) is a step back and takes away from the minimalism and simplicity these products represent. The notches in laptop screens is also something that should not be accepted. The 2020 MacBook Air M1 is still the best laptop in terms of value and functionality as of now.
