This MBP is, I think, specifically tailored for companies buying a lot of them to replace aging 2019 Intel MBPs and finally jump into Apple Silicon.

I have to disagree with you on this one Dave. I think it’s just way too old of a design at this point and it no longer makes sense for most people.

There is such a thing as “over designed”. The Mac laptops are already a perfect balance of beauty and functionality. I would hate to be tasked with improving it just for the sake of a fresh, new look.

Still absolutly ridiculous the fact that the MBP basline model comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of memory at 1500 bucks. BTW they kept everything from the old design (last intel model) except the regular USB port, HDMI and memory card reader. You will need to spend at least $2000 if you want decent memory and some connectivity. Appel will get away with it once more.

It’s Macbook Pro 13 SE 🙂 Same chasse new chip, voile. Also as been discovered, have only 1 SSD chip on it (compared to McBook Pro 13 M1) that performs at 30-40% less speed.

no retro magsafe port, has the touchbar, that minimalist simple design, its a hell yeah for me with the m2 MB pro, though i would’ve liked a newer display with less bezels
