The notchfree design is more pleasing on the eye for a goddamn laptop not factoring in the actual displays side by side. Ima give this 13 inch Pro a try when fall comes as a guy who has never ever used a Mac.

While I lament that it doesn’t have the updated screen or webcam, how can you say this is just a new chip? Are you saying that it does not have a new main board? How about the cooling system, is that new or the same as the previous model? I have a 6 year old XPS, and the new one hasn’t changed much. The bezels are indistinguishably smaller and the track pad marginally better. Meanwhile, this MBP blows away the XPS in terms of user interface and robustness of the hardware. Hopefully Apple has learned from the woes of the titanium Macbooks when designing the case for the screen on the new M2 Macbook Air. I’m all for thinner, but it needs to be durable too.

its not just a chip drop, the internal is ALLL new. just the same webcam the XPS has … and that Touch Bar ??? old aluminium, ?? ohh YouTubers ..

For me, the screen has become a major deciding factor. I got used to my M1 12.9” iPad Pro, with its gorgeous mini-led Pro Motion display. So any laptop I consider has to measure up. This doesn’t.
