Apples laptop design is literally not changing at all or by much other than thickness. Really unexciting honestly comparing to some far more interesting windows laptop recently.

I think this design makes sense and should be continued by Apple. However Pro should be dropped from its name. This is an ideal system to be called a “ Mac Book”.

I was fuming when I saw just the chip upgrade, but after watching a couple of videos, I realized that the perforamance is no slouch. Alright, it got me thinking. Even if the machine is 6-7 years older, still there’s no other device that offers good design (apart from display bezels), excellent speakers, excellent display (not the best in the range tho), performance, and reliability all packed in one device.

My 8th Gen desktop intel CPU still will run circles around this thing!!!! In other news —- My Steam Deck not only plays all desired PC/Roms games with ease, it is also easily upgradeable & repairable. (thx to ifixit) Back on topic — The M1 currentlyon sale is more than enough for most end users since all tech development for laptops has hit a wall, you no longer need to get the latest CPU offered & same with smartphones.

Works but not attractive compared to M2 Air or upcoming M2 Pros. That’s the problem with M2 Pro 13.
