Honest opinion if we going by design aesthetics, the macbook pro I got in 2018 deign is timeless only is I would like upgraded is the thinner wider screen and high refresh and HDR thats it.

Personally, I prefer the “old” design. The new design lacks a character. The notch exists for a sake of a notch. The round edge isn’t to my liking as well. Just generally a mediocre design to me.

It is not true that the design of Windows laptops are always changing quicker. The “most” Windows laptop of all Windows Laptops, the Microsoft Surface Laptop has the same design since May 2017. They only gave it an additional USB-C port in 2019…

How are people not hitting on the increased wattage consumption? 25% and 30% increase and we are supposed to be impressed with the performance gains??? That’s not advancing the silicon, that’s using more power.

Good thing you mentioned about corporate users. Especially those who are always docked anyway but love the portability of 13″. I love my 14″ M1 Pro but I miss the lightness compactness of the 13″ one. I’m also always docked in the office and at home so I don’t really use the internal screen much.
