When the M1 _air_ is legitimately better than the M2 air, unless you add active cooling, and upgrade the ssd to 512gb (2x256gb chips) where the M1 had (2x128gb chips) split 256gb ssd

Hey Dave! Just curious, was the Lenovo Thinkbook 13s (6800u) not available to test at this time? Really weighing my options between that device (which seems a bit new and relatively untested) against the HP Aero you mentioned here in this video. Any thoughts?

M2 is pretty, but the M1 price has dropped… if you know where to look. The open box M1’s are in stores everywhere. I let my (Windows owning) coworker use my m1 Air for an hour at work and he lost his mind. He couldn’t believe that the M1 Air, that I bought as an open box for $700, was so cheap and easy to use compared to his laptop. He was blown away that the M1 Air didn’t slow down or have any loud fans running non stop.

I own a M1 macbook air, I WANT to miss out on the notch, thermal throttling and even slower SSD.
Note: I bought the m1 air after the m2 was launched.

My iPad pro was the 2018 model. Was thinking of upgrading but couldn’t justify paying well over a grand for an iPad Pro with upgraded storage . I decided to go with the beautiful Asus Zenbook instead and get the the iPad Air. I did need a laptop and both came in cheaper than the MacBook Pro or the iPad Pro. Thanks for the suggestions,cheers.
