I don‘t understand these kind of videos. Isn‘t there only ONE question? Which operation system to you want? If macOs than macbook, else choose from the 1755 different windows notebooks. Your (technical great) comparison is not covering the most important aspect. (In my opinion, bit still your video is great)

NO COMPARISON! Rest of the laptops are just not even in the ball park playing the same game. Even at 1200 dollars the macbook air M2 is a bargain and MBA M1 is just smoking deal! Bench mark numbers are one thing but the real world performance difference is DRAMATIC!

Shouldn’t stack laptops like that, you’re literally adding about 6 or 7kg on the bottom laptop, very easy way to crack a screen.

Just as I thought, virtually every Windows based laptop has some sort of compromise that makes the M1 or M2 MBA more compelling. My mum just got the M1 MBA and it’s so, so premium. I think the only laptop that might give it a run for its money is the Surface Laptop 5, if it uses latest gen CPU and is priced aggressively.

I bought gaming laptop I don’t even game. SO I can have 32 GB RAM and 2 SSD. One of them is 2 TB. It costs a lot of money to upgrade RAM and SSD on a Macbook.

Does the M2 MBA have a GFXBENCH score of 48.3 (shown in the comparison with the M1 MBA), or 38.3 (shown in the comparisons with the windows laptops)? If it’s 48.3, that’s a sizeable margin over what the windows machines are getting, but if it’s 38.3, that’s not much more than the M1 MBA.

Dave i really want to know what is your take on the linux OS. First from a content creator’s point of view, second from a gamera perspective and last what do you see it is this OS best use case. Maybe you could do a video about this…

I would go for M1/M2 straight away, if it was at least little usable for math/engineering sw… Matlab, Simulink, Scilab, Modellica, adams.. just nothing.. :/ what a pitty, that aside from photo/video editing and content consuming, its just an overpriced typewriter 🙁
