M2 air is freaking expensive for an Ultrabook and it is basically a smartphone with bigger screen and keyboard. Any cheap Ultrabook will be better, if mobility is the priority. For its price out of US you can afford a real gaming laptop. It is not worth it, no matter how beautiful it looks.

Could you do a review of the Asus S 13? I’m torn between that and the M2 MB Air. The OLED screen and the lighter weight are hard to pass.

A weird quirk to on my new XPS 13+ is that the trackpad occasionally gets confused and doesn’t click, usually when whatever you’re doing freezes. It’s really jarring because you kinda expect it to just work, so it’s weird when you click and don’t feel anything. I never had that happen on my MacBook.

Dave, can you please help us with q MacBook air comparison? my computer died on my and I really need a new one but I’m not sure if I should get the M18 or M2. I am a student and really need reliability from a laptop, the last one I had was a Dell Inspiron and it really let me down big time.

The cool thing about the XPS 13+ is the performance modes. You can set it to balanced for normal use, quiet if you don’t want to bother others with fan noise, cool if you want to keep temps down, or ultra performance if you want as much performance as you could possibly squeeze out of it and it cranks the fans and and goes berrr

During Amazon Prime week, I saw the M1 MacBook Air on sale for $849 or $899. I could be wrong, but I think I saw that price at Amazon and MicroCenter.
I had never seen it on sale before.

why would you buy any comporable windows laptop that is priced at the same level of a mac? I’ve had all windows at this point (dell, HP, razer, Microsoft, Asus and Lenovo) and I’m giving up on windows. I love the software but the hardware is absolute trash no matter how much you spend
