Between the back to school sale and my educational discount as a graduate student, I could pick up the M1 MBA for $750 or the M2 MBA for $950. I’m going to buy one of them–I’m just not sure which yet.

Come on Apple! It would cost them literally pennies to add at least 512GB on the lowest end MacBook Air. SSDs are unbelievably cheap nowadays. My local Microcenter were giving away 256GB drives for free with a coupon. At the very least, give the end user the option to upgrade it later.
