I am not getting one point: with so many comparisons between MacBooks vs Windows PC, or iPhones vs Android phones, and usually one year it is: “chose Win” next year: “chose Mac” – does anybody consider people BUY software? and that software is NOT COMPATIBLE between systems? how can you change every second year Mac and the next year Windows? or vice versa… I am not getting that. (Un)fortunately you stay with the environment you are in. For years.

In India they increased the price of M1 Air by like 100$. It cost 1150$(sold for as low as 950$) and now it’s 1250$.

I used to buy into the XPS hype. Then I got one at work. XPSs are the worst laptops on the market. it’s almost like Dell doesn’t test them at all before they send them out. they overheat like crazy and just the fans are so loud and small. they crash all the time cuz it’s overheating. and by the way I’m help desk so I’ve deployed like 15 of these it’s not just a sample of one. I’ve had to throw away like four of them or RMA them. worst laptop ever Don’t ever buy an XPS ever. Dont buy laptops with Intel chips either.

That Zenbook seems like a solid machine. Almost comparable battery life to M2, better performance and in heavy usage it can actually sustain performance for longer not to mention faster and more SSD and more ram at the price, not to mention oled. I wish they looked nearly as good as xps devices. Al

I can only imagine what amd GPU+cpu combination can do in the future
