Dude..stop embarrassing windows laptops.
Love how AMD and Asus can make a worthy competitor to M2 MBA while still keeping the x86 architecture. That’s not an easy job patching a multi-decades old architecture.
Apple’s secret objective behind this laptop is to make YouTubers recommend M1 MBA even more than what have already been doing
I bought an M1 Mac over my usual windows machines on the strength of all the raving reviews.
It. Cannot. Handle. Its. RAM.
My 5 year old windows laptop could handle my tab-hogging ways. My M1 Mac locks up with moderate tabs and programs.
No one mentions this!!!
I’m even considering switching to android as a result lol.
I actually don’t think it has that much impact on a Windows laptop market. After all, not that many people are comfortable with both MacOS and Windows. I would imagine that the vast majority of Windows user – will stay with Windows because that’s the OS the are familiar with, even if Apple were to offer a significant hardware advantage
Microcenter is selling the M1 MacBook Air for $830.
I got the M1 Air in April this year, my first ever Mac. I knew I was taking a risk ahead of the impending M2 but I am just blown away by how good it is. Better still, I got it on refurb and now no one in my country can get a refurb anymore till the trade-ins get refitted and cleaned, which could take months.
I am just planning buy MacBook as an experienced programmer. should i go with 16+512 m2 air or pro14 M1?
thumbs if you liked it subs if you loved it
Gigachad 🤣
maybe if we get some good Black Friday Deals I would go for it… I remember when I got my MB Pro and the cashier offered me her Employee discount + Some Best Buy deal that was going on atm. it went down like 300$ which was such a good grab. 15inch 2nd tier for around 2.1k. I don’t really need a super strong laptop anymore so I was planning on getting an Air this time around. but at this price point I can still wait a couple months if not another year,
ugly phone like notch
why
WHERE IS THE EXIT MUSIC?!?!?!!
Ever since my Mac book 12 cannot boot anymore right after warranty, and apple support asked me to replace the whole motherboard, I will never buy a personal notebook of apple. My 10 years old windows still able to boot up even though I am not using it anymore.
the best deal is easily a refurbed MBA M1… comes with warranty etc as well, just like a “normal” new mac
benchmark comparisons is one thing, but the overall operating system is just running so well on the M chips, that windows laptops just seem sluggish by comparison. My pc is quite fast (desktop) but just searching for a program to launch, takes a few seconds, on a fast ssd. meanwhile, it’s instantaneous on my MBA. These small everyday performance-increases really add up, for the daily use.
And none of these laptops are designed for “pro” workflows anyway, so..
looking forward to Dave bringing in open source Linux laptops to the studio
Daamn the XPS looks sexy 👌
Can M2 MacBook use as gaming laptop..?
iOS which games support on laptop.?
I really want to see AMD processors in more windows laptops like the Dell XPS 15. I had one for less than a month before I returned it and bought a 14” MacBook Pro. The Intel i7 just runs too hot and uses too much power. The 14” M1 pro MacBook Pro is much faster in the real world and gets more than double the usable battery life of that intel powered XPS 15. An AMD powered XPS 15 would be pretty much the perfect windows laptop.
If M2 MBA was launched at 999$ and M1 MBA dropped by 100$ then apple would have obliterated the windows market many people would have switched to apple unquestionably
