C´mon. If we´re gonna talk, the Aero 13 has just so much potential. When they get the 6000 series chip, it´s just so much value at that price. 16 GB of RAM, 512 SSD, 8 Core 16 Thread processor, with an APU that doesn´t has to push so many pixels (Remember it´s 1920 by 1080 which for a laptop, it´s really fine). good battery life and yes… it has ports. For me that´s a win.

Seem like all windows laptop reviews need to start coming with a disclaimer that they all lose to the M1 MBA in terms of battery life and will no longer be compared alongside it henceforth? 🤔

For my use case the MacBook Air being fanless with great performance is it’s biggest plus point for basic day-to-day productivity.
I wish a fanless Windows PC would provide similar performance. No dusty internals and regular maintenance required.

For 1300 usd you can buy a larger screen 15-16 inches oled screen laptop with nvdia gtx3050 even 3060.

Dave I get it and agree with you that m2 air falls on a more expensive side. But with m1 air – a fantastic laptop still being accessible for consumers for under a $1000 I think the comparability with other companies laptops should start with this particular model. I dont think they (other companies) have anything of their own to compete

Why compare the M2 air against other laptops that have fans? The appeal of the air is the fanless design. Would be good to know which fanless windows laptops are comparable to the M2 Air.

Great hardware, but I hate the software. And the price. Had a Mac Mini M1 and would definitely recommend an M1 Air at the price they are now, instead of this new m2 version. Or a Windows laptop with the new P chips.
